| Best Jerusalem-memory |
Many after so many years...
But recently I was reminded of 2 metalfreaks with the whole
look and everything (girls) in a rockclub in Basel, Switzerland,
who came up in front of the stage and wanted to make a decision
for Jesus. One of them is now a missionaire...
Also when we played in Budapest at a secular rockhall, we
had an opening-act playing ahead of us, a Hungarian metalband.
Well some year after this concert I had a letter from the
leader of the band, saying that all had made a decision
for Jesus and now was serving in a church in Budapest. |
| Funniest Jerusalem-memory |
Many there as well. But
I do remember the american roadmanager we had on the tour
we did together with Joe English in Europe, became extremely
irritated because of all the custom rules, paperwork and
hazzle that he was not used to, stopped at a gas station
to fill up the van, but forgot to take out the hose from
the car. And when he started to drive we saw this rubberhose
stretching more and more until it finally snapped and hit
the pump and broke it... You should have seen the face of
the owner. He was screaming at Doug and he had to pay several
hundred USD for that adventure. And I can assure you he
was not more happy to go on tour in Europe after this thing.
Actually he couldn't wait to go back to Texas. |

the list. |

| Name 3 things you would never perform without |
To be on stage is really a very small part of
my life. But I have learned that I cannot go up there without
having His anointing on me and that's the 3 things I will
NEVER stand in public without. |

Björngårdsvillan,
Göteborg (Gothenburg) November 1:st 1970 |

I use a Peavey Classic 50/50

2120 preamp. I still use the Goldtop and the Strat a lot together
with a Gretsch Elecromatic. |
| What is your passion in life? |
The Kingdom of God |
| What made you decide to join Jerusalem? |
I never decided to join Jerusalem,
I started it. |
| What posters were on your wall as a kid? |
I had one with the Beatles and the Stones (even
if I really never liked the Stones) and before that it was
Elvis and Cliff Richard. |
| Who inspires you musically? |
I made a decision 5 years ago
after several periods of seeking God for 40 days fasting,
not to buy any secular music and to close that door of inspiration.
I am stretching and looking for a new day for the church (singers,
songwriters, dancers etc) and I do believe we truly was meant
be the head and not the tail, and I think we have been running
after this system far too long now... I know this could be
hard to understand for some, but I will at least start putting
the course of my life toward this and if God is the creator
of this wonderful thing we call music, I am ready to sacrifice
whatever He askes of me, to help us to get there... This is
in Psalms 87:7 Amp. Bible. Psalms 137. And we cannot sit at
the rivers of Babylon expecting God to give us the new song,
it is impossible. So I have no reason to be impressed by a
system that really constantly are giving glory to man but
not to God. And that doesn't matter if you are a believer
or not - you are still taking something to yourself that belongs
to God. Christian music needs to be renewed and brought back
to the reality of His Kingdom. And when that happens, the
presence of Him will change athospheres like we have never
ever experienced before... This is all included in the rising
of the body of Christ... Sorry if my answers are not "stardom"
answers, but there is only one true STAR. |
| Who was your rolemodel in childhood? |
I loved popmusic, as it was called then (not
the kind of pop we have today), so naturally I had bands like
the Kinks, Yardbirds, the Who, Jimi Hendrix (saw him live
in Gothenburg at Circus) |
| Who would you really like to meet? |
Noone right now... |
| Word of wisdom: |
Seek and you WILL find... |
| You in one word? |
One word? Determined. |
| Special message to Jerusalem fans |
Well, the purpose with the whole thing is not
to create followers of Jerusalem, but of Jesus. So if I should
give a message, it will have to be this. |
